Default k20 compression?

how does the ITR K20 raise compression to 11.5:1 over the type s 11.0:1??

pistons? head gasket? head?

the head and block are the same castings right?

thanks

also i just saw that with the usdm pistons + the toda head gasket = 11.4:1

so what else is different from the ITR to the usdm type s?
IM, header and cams right? Is that all?

i think the itr has dual valve springs on intake and exhaust sides, dont quote me on that though.

You're correct theblackknight, the ITR has the duals on intake and exhaust, where the USDM Type S just has them on the intake.

I believe the 2003+ Type S has dual valve springs on both sides.

you guys actually have it backwards, the k20a has stiffer single valve springs, and the older type-s had dual valve springs, while the newer models are starting to use single valve springs like the k20a.

type-s has the same dual valve springs on the intake side as the s2k ( i believe )

The Hondata guy I talked to said that the older Type-S's did not have the dual springs and the newer ones do.
