Just bought a kit car which uses the accord f22 engine and sub frame with standard chassis mounts to suit.
Looking at putting the K20a2 engine in as a substitute ( better power/more torque etc) I know i'm going to have to sort a mod out on the engine mounts. Has anyone any info on anyone who's done this or possible suppliers of different engine mounts so i don't have to butcher the frame? also advice on changing the exhaust direction as the k20's the other way round.

i would check hasport engine mounts.

then its time to get reallll custom...

 

No one I know of makes mounts to put a K-series in a Prelude or Accord platform and I doubt anyone ever will. Time to go full custom, my man.

 

Hasport is working on a 'universal' mount kit, as in, a kit that you can mount into any car with a bit of custom fab.
