Default anyone have problems with sri's on your ludes?

I talked to my friend that owns a shop here in town that works specifically on hondas and he said that most of time ludes will throw engine codes if you put CAIs and SRIs on them. Anyone else on here have problems with this? cuz I'm planning on using my SRI from my accord, but I need to know whether or not I should sell it w/ the accord or use it for the lude.

hmmm. weird, no one has ever told me that, but i do have a check engine light on and all I have is CAI. I don't have the stock intake to switch back and see if it goes off tho.

I've never heard of that. Ever. I'd say something insulting, but I don't know how good a friend this guy is of yours . . . .

I've got a shorty intake on mine, works great. Just take out the resonator & open up the hole & splashguard so it gets plenty of fresh cool air. Build yourself a little air-box if you want as well.

I have heard of the problem with OBD2 cars.... I know there is a way to fix it but I forget right now. I don't have to deal with that..

If you dont cap off the proper tubes you can throw a code... but messing up installing a CAI is hard to do

Mine never threw a code.

I did stick the little vacuum hose nipple thing into the silicone connector, just in case, since it was there on the stock intake.

thats an exhaust, we are talking about intakes. and i belive if you pass too much air by your 02 sensor on a OBDII you will throw a code.

I've never even heard of an exhaust throwin a code, assuming the O2 sensors were hooked up correctly.
