Default redline on stock b18a 90-91

I figured for sure Id find this on g2ic.com but I looked under the Specifications part of the site and could ONLY find specs on a 92-93. I didnt think it was the same because they put out different numbers:
90-91 teg
130 hp @ 6000 rpm
121 lbs.-ft. (16.8 kg-m) @ 5000 rpm
92-93 teg
140 hp @ 6300 rpm
126 lbs-ft (17.4 kg-m) @ 5000 rpm
redline 6500 rpm

Thats all I could find and they didnt say on the page what the redline was on a 90-91.
Honestly I thought 90-93 all redlined at 6700rpms-6800rpms
Thanks!

my redline on my 91 is 6500. it may technically be 6700 or 6800 but the tach isnt precise enough to squeeze out 200 more rpm. probably not worth it either.

6500

nope. The redline is at 6500. The fuel cut-off is at 6930 or so according to the setting on the stock ECU rom.

you really need to read more carefully. He's asking about 90-91's not 92-93's. The 92-93s have about a 300rpm higher redline.

The blocks are the same so it doesnt matter. you can REV like a 92-93 if you want but the head and the IM doesent flow as good as a 92-93 so it isnt worth revving the extra 300RPM on a 90-91.

I've never seen any real proof of the superiority of the b18b head/intake manifold. Especially when they are modded, the 90-91 seem to respond to mods every bit as well as the newer engines.

The cams are a different profile, that's all, basically all they did was shift the peak torque like 300rpms higher, which gave like a 10hp gain.

So the reason it's not "worth" raising the redline, is because the stock cams die at 6000, not cause the intake manifold and head don't flow as well.

wouldnt you think if the 92-93 makes more power @6300 and then 90-91 makes less power @6000 that the readlines were different? Both motors both redline at 6500 which means you shoud be shifting as close as possible to 6500; I usually take mine up to like 6900

No I havent completed it yet....this about to go ot now but anyways I had all the motor work done and head work, but the machanic is supposed to help me put this thing back together. I dont want to trust my skills to do it by myself this first time so i got some help. After that im going to put it back in my car and run it NA to break the motor in and saved up a few more bucks for the turbo system. Then after that Ill go up to turbotech install the system and then let them route all the piping. After that i have to meet up with ndogg and hes going to chip/tune my car for me and then Ill go from there.....I got a long ways to go still...But thanks for asking...
EDIT: yes its a b16

my redline reads at 6500 on my 91. It isn't worth reving any higher than that in a stock b18a. I have a (70mm, ordered the wrong one)HKS air filter and SP2 exhaust and reving it past 6500 just feels like i stress the motor. I don't feel the car pulling anymore. I raced my friend with a stock LS SE and i was at his fender the whole time. We got up to about 80mph or so. I have a shitty OEM clutch and i know it slips alot so that might be why i lost.
