Difference between Hydro and Cable Tranny?
i'm buying a hatch for a swap soon and was wondering, what's the difference between a Cable Tranny and a Hydro Tranny? some clips come with a hydro and some with a cable

please elaborate... all I can answer this with is... One is cable actuated, and one is actuated by a hydraulic cylinder.
It's possible to put a cable trans into a hydro car and vise versa, but much easier to match them up.

The Cable trannys came with the first gen B16 and they use cables to disengage the the clutch. The Hyrdo tranny came with the Second gen B16 and they use hydraulic fluid to disengage the clutch. If you have a 92+ car then the clip with the hydro tranny is the one you want to get. You can do search for some more info. on this but at least it helps.

thanks that helps alot, that's weird tho cuz on jdmshit.com the B16A's i was looking at came with a cable tranny
