would that work or will it b crappy?

my friend syas that the exhaust system flows only as good as the smallest pipe. i guess by that he means that despite the opening up b-pipe to 2.5 it gets restricted to 2inches in the end. yo i dunno he makes sense but personally i think .5 inch difference isnt gonna hurt esp. if its only the muffler section. i dunno if itll make a big difference but it doesnt really sound like it will and i bet it will be better than stock. good luck.
