What size tire, how fast do you want to go, what tranny, do you want to make custom gears or use what is available. I little more info is needed when you ask questions like that.

28x10x15 slicks...we are gonna need to use gearing available through honda at the moment...how fast do we want to go?....well as fast as possible would be the goal ...but near the 170mph range seems attainable with a honda tranny...ive been told....1st gear=ls...2-4gear=b16 5th ls....before i put this thing together i just want to get some input......BTW....power output on this thing should be near 800hp

why do LS 5th on a race car? its not like u r ever going to use it anyways.. Might as well put the shortest 5th in their possible just in case you have to shift to 5th in the 1/4

just cause u don't know them, does not mean they are not out there.

I will say it again. 28" tall tire, B16 tranny(4.40fd w/ 1.10 4th gear), and 10k rpm's you hit 170mph.....

Gary and Kenny are both going 170 in 4th.

Go to a gear calculator like the one on jadesupra.net and put in tire diameter and gear ratio and play with it, keep in your power band
