I just put in a new tranny, and after filling it w/ oil it started leaking though the half-shaft. I know i need a new Axel Seal but is this difficult to replace??? Im looking for Good Advice here. Thanks in Advance yO Any info is good info.
Easy to replace, just pop out the axle/shaft and you can pop out the seal with a flathead and put the new one in, they're cheap as well.
I'm in the same boat as you. I'll be replacing mine this weekend.

You can rub a bit of RTV around the edge with your finger if you want, but its not necessary. All you need is a screwdriver to pry the old one out, then use a block of wood and a hammer to bang the new one in.
