how in the hell do i fix this problem? it's really getting bad now. this seems to be a very common problem for the y8 trans, everyone that i know with one has the same problem. i have tried putting in syncromesh gear oil, motor mount inserts and shifter bushings. it something in the trans for sure. please help!!!!!!!

 

It sounds like your shift tower isn't keeping it in gear. But you will have to take the transmission apart

 

pressure plate maybe?

 

low MTF?

 

the tranny is bad or u back motor mount i always had problems with does trannys gear pops out if u race it alot it will happen i 3 sitting here but now i am b series and does trannys are a lot of money 100 bucks compared to 600

 

shift tower, please explain. i have no problem pulling the trans apart.
