Default Clutch question ???

i have an ACT XTSS clutch that I took out of my blown D16Z6 that was in my CX and transfered it to my 93 Si. The clutch pedal was really stiff when it was in my CX but when i put it in the Si, the pedal wasn't as stiff. I bled the clutch plenty of times but it still wasnt as stiff as it was in the CX. What could the problem be? Oh and by the way, the clutch only had 500 miles on it when i transfered it. Please help me out, thanks in advance.

Temperature affects pedal stiffness for me at least...

the pressure plate may be dead. as long as it grabs, I welcome a softer peddal.

My left leg is huge. almost as if a jerk off with my legs...

naw both are d16z6...the only difference is one is a 94 and the other a 93. CX had the 94 and the 93 is the Si

I believe it's just the different cars, like the things weren't made just the same. I've been in many honda's and they've all had different feeling. I'd try that master cylinder swap if you really wanted to be sure. Also check the cable at the tranny that engages the clutch, don't know what it is called, but I had a faulty one on an old manual that my dad just slipped a penny between the cable and actuator and it gripped like a new clutch (car had over 200k miles).

my friend and i did it. we changed clutches a lot of times so we know we didnt mess anything up. its just weird that its stiffer one on car and not as stiff on the other.
