Whats the fastest 1/4 time ever done on a boosted stock d16 motor in a crx.. STOCK motor meaning all oem internal parts..

And this is on a bone stock d16 motor..

 

the rods must be from a god to hold the power needed to run 11s, cant be BONE stock internally

 

oh, bone stock meaning d16 rods, not machined LS rods.

 

I just check up on it and it does seem that he is running 11's with a bone stock d16 motor.. Looks like I have a long way to go..

his motor is bone stock with a greddy headgasket...or was.

 

what does it weight, 1500lbs lol. i dont see how the stock d16 rods will hold

 

no, i think it was a little under 2000 lbs...street car.

i have a friend with a turbo zc ....stock everything...its a crx...semi-race...

Read up a little before you go giving thumbs downs.

 

Bone stock with the exception of the greddy head gasket. Had more in it, but unfortunately it sprang a small leak from one of the radiator hoses on the way to the track and overheated thus warping the head. He ran it anyway and hydrolocked it.... still it was fun while it lasted. And it was a "street" car, ac and rear trim was removed but otherwise complete. 316 to the tires running t3/t4 50 trim, dsm injectors with vafc hack, cut down powerstroke ic, supra fuel pump and some shitty *** low pro slicks.

 

Wow.. Getting 316 at the wheels with a stock d16 motor.. Either he got a motor from hell or hes just very good at tuning, also probably some luck thrown in there..

 

I don't think it was the motor from hell... had around 155k on it, made 122 whp with I/H/E before we tried to destroy it with boost In the name of science of course.

I see you have a t3t04e on there.. Where did it start to spool at??

 

had full boost around 4200-4500 (16psi)i dont remember where it started to spool at
