? on the turboxs manual boost controller
i got my new tial .6 bar external wastegate and turboxs manual boost controller in the mail today. well i installed the wastegate first and then drove around the block. it would only boost to 6 pounds. then i installed my boost controller and i did what the instructions said(tighten the bolt all the way then turn counter clock wise 3 times. then i drove it around. it boosted all the way to 8.5-9psi so it scared me and i tightened it all the way down and when i drove it again i was boosting 10psi by 5k rps so i let off. i dont understand wasent the boost supposed to go down? if anybody knows how to work these things please help me out. thx

Do you have the high performance or normal version? (Two adjustments or one adjustment) If it's the high performance, you should loosen the side adjustment (brass) and SLOWLY tighten the screw until you cannot hear the ball move any more... Then use the three turn rule on the top
KEEP IN MIND:
That boost controller is NOT made to turn your boost up small amounts such as 1 to 2 pounds... If you are still having trouble, you can lower the boost by loosening the brass (ball) adjustment so that you can hear/feel the ball move SLIGHTLY. This will allow more boost to pass thru the valve.
