Default HELP me with my custom turbo catback

i need a catback that i can use now (i am still NA), and i need it so that i can use the same catback later (when boost comes)
------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. 2.5? 3? inch kteller piping stainless steel kit
2. apexi n1 muffler (anything wrong with this? or should i go with the chambered kind?)
3. stainless steel resonator (how many of these will i need, or none if possible?)
------------------------------------------------------------------------
i need it so that this catback can bolt up to my stock cat, and also so that it can bolt up to my 2.5 inch high flow cat that i will get when i boost, is this possible?

i have some extra questions i need to ask before i go thru with this:
1. (i am SURE i want to keep a cat, stock for now and hi flow later) how will i work with smog checks and california law ??

and on kteller.com
2. will i need the "o2 bung"
3. will i need to buy anything from the "mandrel bends" category if i am just getting the piping kit
4. will i need flex pipes if i am just trying to build a catback

so far i have learned some exhaust stuff off kgaccord and fv190, anyone wanna help me out on making my system ?!?!!?! <U>any help is welcome</U>

you're in cali? You won't pass smog with a drag or f-max turbo on your 6th gen accord they're not CARB certified.

2.5" is the only middle choice. Muffler is purely opinion, same with resonator.

And the tkeller cat works as is. Its a cat back - theres no flex pipes, or o2 bungs in a cat back exhaust.

Questions answered.

1. You won't pass the visual unless the tech is willing to overlook the turbo.
2. You will need one O2 bung, for OBD1, two for OBD2.
3. I believe kteller.com gives you enough pipe to run turbo back, so you should not need extra bends.
4. Use a flex pipe on your downpipe before your cat.

- Resonator is a plus
- N1 will work fine
- Just wait to put your exhaust & hi-flow cat on when you install the turbo.
- 3" is optimal for a t3/t4 turbo setup, but you can surely get away with 2.5"

and just to clarify, the O2 bungs are on the downpipe, not on the cat-back, so if all you are talking about is the cat-back, then you don't need any bungs. The kteller kits need to be welded, just incase you didn't know.

i think a big problem for me right now is to work the flanges if i want to stay with the stock cat, 2.5 piping and smaller cat?

if i went with an aftermarket name brand i wouldnt have to worry about flanges but then i would only be able to go 60mm

anything else on how i should build the custom?

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by FwdCivicHatch &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">and just to clarify, the O2 bungs are on the downpipe, not on the cat-back, so if all you are talking about is the cat-back, then you don't need any bungs. You can actually have the O2 placed on the cat, and the kteller kits are slip fit w/ clamps, but you do have some minor welding.
