ok im getting a catback exhaust 2.25in aluminum pipe with a powerflow dual tip muffler i have 2 questions 1. do i need to use a resonator? my cat is punched would it work the same way as a resonator 2.has anyone ever even heard of powerflow mufflers i told the guy i wanted something that was high flow but not screeching load and he sed that would be good its like a flowmaster it gives it a deep tone if anyone has a web site on powerflow id appreciate it.

get a resonator, you can never be too quiet. it'll add a little bit of restriction but the exhaust tone will be much deeper no matter how it sounds already.

dont know bout powerflow, with the 22in. resonator it wont really matter though, it'll be pretty quiet. mine is 18" and still helped alot, and i got the loudest, shittiest muffler you can find.

if you want your car crazy loud dont have the resinator put in. i used to do that when i had my universal muffler. it was crazy loud. you'll get annoyed of it pretty quick. if you punch your cat it wont work like a resinator. instead you will get a something called SO2 which is a some type of gas produce from your car and it will smell bad. i haven't heard of powerflow before. if you really want a deep tone get a tanabe super hyper medallion or a greddy sp exhaust
