Default Wont boost over 4 PSI on greddy Sohc Kit

I just installed a greddy Sohc Turbo Kit into My delsol with a jdm D15B, The turbo spools and BOV sounds but cant get past 4 PSI. I tried to put a Vacuum tee in between the Nipple of the compressor and the wastegate one to raise boost but still nothing. I need some help, I have the BOV to Manifold.

do you have a mbc? check for leaks, and run vacuum from intake manifold source. be sure to cap off the compressor side.

check for leaks in your charge piping. make sure none of them popped loose. it happens pretty often, esp if if it's your first time installing and you were eager to finish and didnt tighten down a clamp on a silicone sleeve quite tite enuff. check every single connection.

if its not that, you could try plugging off the compressor nipple and using the intake mani for the vac source for the wg. you have the bov set up right but it wouldnt mean much if your already leaking off boost at the wg. and of course make sure the arm on the wg isn't hitting anything or staying slightly open all the time. good luck

Is it brand new or used? Did anyone mess with the wastegate actuator? Cause' you can change the boost from that... Good luck though...

sounds like pressure drop cause of the intercooler . stock boost is 5.5 without intercooler .

see if you have your wastegate actuator hooked up how its supposed to , to the compressor , the compressor will see 5.5 but thats not what the car is seeing , so hook it to the IM , then youll be good to go

Check for leaks. I had to get under my car 2-3 times after I put my kit on b/c I didnt tighten couplers enough. After that hook your WG up to IM source. If that doesnt work, take the WG off the turbo and adjust the boost. I've adjusted mine up to 8 by this method.
