Default question for SOHC turbo users

Hey, I'm having a problem building boost with my new turbo set up. I'm reading a vacuum of about 17 on my boost gauge so i'm thinking i'm using some bad vacuums, but i've switched up the vacuum lines around and it's still reading around 17. By the way i have a D15b7 with a small T3 turbo and FMIC, HF manifold, internal wastegate, and greddy BOV. Now i know the break booster is a great place to tee off of for a vacuum source, so i guess i'm asking which device (if not all) i should tee off the break booster line.

It seems like everything else is working fine, i'm getting a little air out of the BOV when i gas it and there are no leaks in the intercooler piping or anywhere. Thanks for any help on this topic.

check your bov and wastegate for leaks, I lost vacuum too and found out that it was a broken diaphragm on my wastegate. From what it sounds like I think its your bov since there is air getting out, the diaphragm might be done for, try taking of the vacuum tube of the bov and close it with your thumb and if you regain vacuum then there's your problem, if not the try that with the rest of the parts.

alright...thanks for the reply's. Yeah i'm not getting any boost, i set the boost at 7psi. The BOV is a brand new Greddy type RS, but i might change it to a Type S if you're saying the RS is shot. If it is the BOV then i know exactly what happened cause i let my friend mess with it but he ended up breaking it i think. He screwed it down too hard and the nut and little screw part on top fell out. So could that cause the problem?

hey 95civ are you running stock injectors? i run 5.5 psi on my d15b7 w/ stock inj. i'm wondering if i could run a little more psi w/ them, and if 370cc inj. are good for 10 psi.

it depends on what kind of fuel management you are using...I'm using an FMU/inline fuel pump/missing link (i know it sux, but it seems to be working fine). What are you using? If you have like hondata or chrome or uberdata, you might as well get some DSM 450's and tune it. I'm looking to do that over the winter. If you're using a 12:1 FMU, you can use stock injecters for about 7-8psi. I deffinitly wouldn't go higher than that with an FMU.

93civiccoupe...can you tell me where you have all your vacuum lines hooked up to? Like for your BOV, Wastegate, and stuff? I'm just seeing if i should change any of them.
