bent rod/resleeve
What kind of block damage results from a bent rod? Would a scared cylinder wall result from this? I'm not sure why the rod is bent in the first place, but give me a worst case scenario..
I'm trying to pick up an h23 block for cheap to send out for a resleeve, but I don't want to spend my money on something that isn't going to even work right in the long run.
All help is appreciated, thanks.

Screw you guys, I'm... going... home.

First, Ryan is correct, the only way to know for sure is to tear it down and check everything.
Second, if it bends in the direction of rotation and doesn't bend too far it shouldn't cause any major damage. If it bends in the direction of the crank axis then it will likely cause some cylinder damage because the wrist pin will force the bottom of the piston against, say, the back (#4) side of the cylinder and the top of the piston against the front (#1) side of the cylinder. Only one way to find out...
