GC w/ Koni Adjustables or H&R Race w/ Tokico Illuminas?
Hey,
I want to upgrade my suspension for a daliy driven car. I've hear that i can't go wrong with Ground Controls, but i also like the H&R Race Springs. Which would be the better choice? I won't be autocrossing or anything. Can you guys/gals help me with a setup? Which would go best together? GC w/ Koni or GC w/ Tokico..etc. Thanks!

bump , cuz I wannna know to. Right know I have neuspeed race springs with Tokico Illuminas and the ride is awful and the springs make noise so I was also thinking of upgrading to some Ground Control coilovers. Do they all come with the same spring rate? I want a good ride cuz its my daily driver
GC's on Koni's all the way.
I have had two sets of gc's, one on KYB GR2's and this set I have on tokico Blues... and the ride is great!

A lot of people like gc and koni yellows. I have gc and tokico illuminas in my car and it's really nice. you can change the setting from soft to stiff with the shocks. I think koni's are better for the track and all, but since you're not gonna be on the track i would say gc and illulmina's.
I'm running Tokico Illuminas on Eibach pros for a daily driver and I love it, very stiff & responsive. My 2 cents? Illuminas are 5 way adj, warrantied for life and less bling ... can't go wrong with either though.

GC can customize the spring rates, so basically you can get whatever spring rate fits your need..

I think you will love the GC/Koni yello combination and that is my choice if I were to pick between the 2. The GC coils will allow you to adjust the height of your car, as well as you can get them to come in a lot of different spring rates to satisfy your need...also the Koni Yellow's are incredible struts, need I say more because there are tons of thread on them..

If is this is just for daily driving and not autocrossing or track events I would go with the h $ r setup, the GC setup would be overkill.
go with the h&r race springs and illuminas. thats what i have now and it rides much better than my old ground controls at ots springs rates. since you dont autox, then ground control is overkill. you should be happy with h&r.
the H&R race spring have higher spring rates than the OTS ground control kit FYI.
