Default question bout h23 to h22

ok i spun a bearing in my 93 si lude h23a1 i found a h22a that i am buying soon and i am wondering what i need as far as like new ecu etc... plz help guys the car and engine sitting at uncles shop

The easiest way to do the swap is getting the engine, trans, and ecu together.

so you are going to buy an h22a engine, block and head right? everything will bolt up perfect. all you need is to get a vtec ecu obd1, you can get them or ebay for less than 200, just run the vtec wires and thats it. just a couple wires and an ecu. i did this before when i had a prelude but im not sure if the downpipe alingned with the vtec manifold but im pretty sure that is did not.

yeah the WHOLE thing is coming out not just block and **** the WHOLE thing so all i need to do is get some1 to run the vtec wires and ecu with obd1? right? thx for the help guys

yah all you need to do is wire vtec. I did the same thing on my car and I switched from a p14 to a p13 ecu, which you need to do so that you can have vtec.
