Default Question about Engine Swapping

Im thinkin bout swapping my h23a for a h22a, can i use the h23a tranny, axles, and ecu and still use the h22a. And do you guys think a 30 day warranty on a engine is long enough?

i think a startup warranty is fine.....buy from a reputable company and you wont have to worry about that....

the more warranty the better, but you are better off spending a bit more and being safe....

go with either

http://www.importautosalvage.com

or

http://www.hmotorsonline.com

and you wont go wrong.

you will need to use the H22 ECU as well as possibly wire your car for VTEC. search. there are probably a hundred + threads on this alone.

i'm not going to doubt a ht guru, but i thought the h23 ecu was ok to use with a h22, just have to run 2 wires, to the vtec solenoid, and something else i forgot .....will check tomorrow.......or is h23 p14? ah hell i'll just wait till the morning to check

The h23 uses the p14 ecu and I strongly advise against using the p14
on an h22a. The fuel maps are different and will lean out your motor.

BTW: You can get the complete package (motor, tranny, ecu)
from HMO for a good price.
