i would not recommend you hooking up a high end components to a stock. don't half *** it, save up for a decent amp for them. a friend of mine also has the diamond audio m3s and still waiting for an amp.

u take the stock speaker wires that go into the stock speaker and u connect that to input. then on the crossover, woofer goes to the midbass and tweeter goes to the tweeter.

so how much did you get the diamond? just curious. anyway here's a link you might want to look around in.
http://www.craigslist.org on the right side pick where you're located or where's closest to you. like LA or somethin. then just look up amplifiers on the forsale sign. there's a very nice amp i saw. it's a clarion class 'T'. http://losangeles.craigslist.org/ele/29981129.html http://www.sounddomain.com/sku/CLADPX10012read about it and do your research and you'll see this is a high end amp. it's less than $200 compared to $500. man i wish i'm in socal, i would've bought that, wait no, i'm a Phoenix Gold man.

anyway this amp is more for a high end subwoofer. you might be able to use this for your separates and mids but i'm not sure. some say that there's no such thing as overpowering speakers.. to an extent. anyway look around for a good brand. i would recommend Phoenix Gold, Clarion, Precision Power (PPI), Zapco, oldskool fosgates. i wouldn't recommend the mass market amps like alpine, pioneer, etc. but some might disagree.

as for the headunit, well the rest of your system would depend on your headunit and you definitely need to replace that stock hu. look for something with an 3 preset output (front, rear, subs) which outputs AT LEAST 4 volts!

if you want to know more about car audio, try this. http://www.carstereo.com/help/ or http://www.the12volt.com
goodluck.
