how do i know if a tranny is good or not?
everytime i shift from 2nd into 3rd at high rpms it grinds and i also have a hard time downshifting into 2nd. is there a way i can fix this? if so, how much would it cost? i was considering to buy another tranny, but how do i know if its good or not? what would you do!? i need some advises, can someone please help me out. thanks
you can always try using the GM Syncromesh tranny fluid. That seems to help some people with minor grinds. It's worth a shot before shelling out the cash for a whole new tranny

get the syncromesh with friction modifiers and around 300-500 miles youll be good to go!
