question on my new 01's gear ratios
Hello, I just got my '01 and I notice that in 6th, 60mph runs about 3250rpm, 70 about 3750. Is this normal for a stock FD gear. My GSR ran 3500@70, but it had a 4.4FD, albeit a different top gear ratio.
Does my FD appear stock or do you think it has been upgraded?

nope, you're running a stock FD:

did you run a speedo correction device in your GSR to compensate for the different gear ratios and final drive or do the FWD trannys have a different speed sensor pickup point. When going from a 4.1 to a 4.44 or 4.77 or higher gear ratio and not using a speedo correction device, the speedometer will read a higher speed at a given RPM point, so you are going slower than what your speedo tells you. Hence that might explain why you were seeing 70 @ 3500rpms when at 3500rpms you were probably going 60mph or less. That is only true if you didn't use a speed correction device in conjuction with your different final drive ratios.
*edit* as you already know, a 4.10 is a stock final drive for the s2000
