Default Brake Light Doesn't Work....

well i bought this car a few months back and not too long ago noticed that my brake light doesnt work... i dont have a brake light on my rear window but shouldnt tail lights light up bright red when u hit the brakes? im pretty positive it should..but i suck at wiring and i hate it so does n e one know how to hook the brake light back up to the tail lights?There use to be a wing wit led on the car so i might be unhooked cuz of that?

Have you checked the fuse box first? Maybe you just blew a fuse.

check the bulbs.

no its not workin now... i checked the bulbs like 2 days ago and replaced them and still not workin

yup it turns on when i turn my lights on....it jus dont light up brighter when i hit the brake

maybe youre not running to the back of the car fast enough after you press the brake pedal to see the light....

haha! thats a good one... earlier i was all pushin the brake wit a sick and ****.. it was pretty damn funny! but then my bro came home and checked it out for me while i hit the brake

get new bulbs again, or at least look at them to see, because there are 2 line things, don't know what they are called, but they have to be attached

have you checked to see if any current is sent to the lamps when the brake is pressed?

Are you sure you didn't use 1156 bulbs instead of 1157's?
