Now, this may sound ghetto as hell, but there is about an inch between my turbine and intercooler. It's the only way it fits. Bumper support out and all.

Anyway, I was thinking about getting a piece of aluminum, or some type of sheetmetal and wrapping it with exhaust/header wrap.

I'd put this plate/shield in between the two to try to reduce heatsoak/melting.

Feel free to flame this idea into the ground, it's just a thought.
