Strut Bar worth it? What kind?
Is it worth it to put a strut tower bar on a 99 accord v6? Would it help with body roll at all, even if there are no other suspension modifications? Would it hurt the car at all?
If it IS a good thing to have, whats a good brand?

its not gonna hurt.....and it can only help (as little as it may).....the BEST type would be one that connect to the firewall as well

Anything that will help "stiffen" the body will help overall. When I put my front tower brace on, it helped, when I put my rear one on, it felt like a new car. Between front and rear strut tower braces and then sway bar kits, you should have a decent handling car. Once you add springs with more aggressive spring rates (compared to stock) and better shocks you will be like
whoa.
Don't waste your time on lower tie bars its more of a bling item whereas the money could be used on other goodies.

On a 90-93 Accord, do you recommend simply replacing the rear sway bar with a thicker one & poly bushings? Or to buy a complete set for FR & RR sway bars?
I would think they it'd perform better overall to buy the set, as they probably were designed to function better this way and not just buying one. But I'd like another opinion on this.
Thanks.

/\ buy it as a set....not only are they thicker and more stiff than stock, but you wouldn't want stock and some aftermarket parts; and I believe they are only sold in sets....
think of it this way, would you buy only rear aftermarket springs? no

swaybars aren't only sold in sets..you can buy them in sets but also individually..they also come with polyurethane bushings as well
as for strut bars..just go for any generic one..they are almost all the same and spending $100 more for a name brand one that does a lliiitttlllee bit more chassis stiffness isn't worth it imo
strut bars don't help reduce body roll..only chassis stiffness..body roll is where swaybars and springs/shocks come in
