Car: 98 civic(yea i know this is the teg forum, but i usually find better tech help here and the engine(s) is out of a teg)
engine : OBD1 93 LS head, 98 ls block
ECU : obd2-obd1 harness with obd1 ls ecu

basically i need a distributor that fits on the LS head, since my GSR dist doesnt exactly line up. i've got a 93 LS dist, that bolts up fine. so heres the delima: the LS dist has 2 plugs that should go into the wiriing harness in the engine bay... well the wiring harness has ONE plug. so the wires on the LS dist are the same as the ones on the GSR dist that i have(the GSR connector on the dist fits the plug on the wiring harness in the engine bay, so i need to put the GSR connector on the LS dist).
so, will the LS distributor work if i cut the wires, and swap over the GSR connector?

all of the wire colors are the same, so i'm hoping i can just cut off the two connectors, and wire in the one connector from the GSR dist, but i just want to verify that this will work!
