GSR connector on LS distributor.... help me out please!! :)
LS connection: two connectors, 9 wires
GSR connection: one connector, 9 wires
all of the wire colors are the same, so i'm hoping i can just cut off the two connectors on the LS dist, and wire in the one connector from the GSR dist, but i just want to verify that this will work before i start cutting, and splicing! the connector on the wiring harness in my engine bay will only accpet the GSR style connector, not the ls one, which is why i need the GSR connector on the ls dist!
Car: 98 civic HX
motor: 93 ls head 97 ls block
ECU: obd2>obd1 adapter, obd1 LS ECU
any help is greatly appreciated!

It will work. Cut the plug off of the OBD 1 unit and color match them to the OBD 2 unit. You could also go to radio shack and buy new pins and just repin it other than cutting and splicing, but whatever is easier for you.
LS=OBD1
GSR=OBD2
Hope this helps
LS=OBD1
GSR=OBD2
Hope this helps
