Make sure you put the O2 sensor in its proper location on the intake

also make sure yuou didnt accidentally disconnect any of the vacuum lines on the intake manifold

I believe it would be the MAF.

O2 sensor is in your exhaust system. It is what tells your PCM if you are running to rich or too lean.

also, if that doesnt work try disconnecting the negative cable on the battery then let the car run for a few minutes to allow the ecu to adjust for the increase in air

The proper form of "you are" would have been "you're"

Did that in my Lx when I had it a while back. Reset the code, I just left mine up and it went away a month later, most likely what the other guys said a loose sensor

I hope you realize that I misspelled that on purpose right.

And in your attempt to flame me you seemed to forget that English is supposed to be capitalized.

My 6th grade vocabulary eh? I could be a jackass a place your reply into Microsoft word and see what the Flesch-Kincaid reading level is but I don't feel like wasting any more time with you.

Nope, no mass air flow meter on a Honda, its a speed density system.

The IAT is intake air temp, but just cause its not in the intake tube, doesn't mean it'll give you a check engine light.

Best thing, pull the code for the check engine light! Auto parts stores can pull codes off of cars for free.
