Will Hondata and VAFC do the same thing?
Just wondering, im looking into some new toys for my car, and i was wondering, if i got a VAFC, could i do more tuning with this or with say a Hondata s100?

Is it boosted? Or for an all-motor app.?

- I would probably just go with the s200 system due to the fact that it can be re-tunned with additional features you can "PURCHASE" with it.
The rev limiter would be nice for drag racing if thats your bag, the boost option is cool if you ever decide to boost your car.
And the data logging feature to see where the performance of your car can be played with where it seems to lack so your car runs damn near perfect based upon its tunning.
I would say there is no comparison at all with a VFAC and a HONDATA whatsoever. They may do a few things the same but hondata doesnt make your dashboard look cool at night, and thats the main reason most people buy them. Because nobody seems to grasp the concept that it needs to be tunned to be worth a ****.

i am going N/A right now, but mabye in the future i may go turbo, im looking to put CTR cams, CTR pistons, CTR valvetrain (springs and retainers), unorthodox pullyies and cam gears, and probaly some dc headers 4-1?
So should I get the vtec controller or the ecu upgrade?

Damn, did you get one of them rare SIs that came with the V6? Wish I could put a set of headers on my car! For now its just a header though

You can actually change ign maps and fuel maps with Hondata. A vafc there is nothing you can do about ign maps, and the fuel settings are just acheived by tricking the map sensor to thinking its at a point where theres less vacum = more fuel at diffrent rpm ranges.
Ive had good experiences with Hondata for the most part. I would get Hondata S200 though, its only like 50 bucks more and you can upgrade later. (i use s200)

No need for an attitude. If your modifying your car you should know that a 4 banger only has 1 header and 1 head. Everyone makes mistakes, chill out!
