Default What mods should I do??

Just got my hands on a 89 SI with a JDM ZC as my daily driver (including the winter as of right now). Currently The only mods on the Car is a CAI and muffler to the engine, coilovers and shocks are brand new. I'm just seeing how fun of a car I can build for $5000 CDN (including the purchase price of the car) I've got a HP racing header and high flow cat that I'm yet to install. What I'm trying to figure out right now is how much more power will I get over installing the header, currrently I've got the JDM ZC manifold on the car and the ports look to be bigger than those of the header. I know that changing the cat will give me a little more...just trying to figure out if the header should go on or should I sell it to put the money in something else.
Other than that I've got a MSD pro cap and new wires to install. Other things I'm looking at is a 2.25" mid pipe and chipping my computer (PG7) What should or shouldn't I do??.
Remember I'm not looking to spend a **** load of coin on this (I've already got a truck with $25 000US in mods). Just something fun and cheap.

Well I have figured this out, making a car badass and giving it HP isn't cheap. lol Well about your header, header's don't give a lot of HP, but they do make your car flow better. I never could understand why they are so expensive and you get about the same horses (maybe a little more) as a cold air intake. I wouldn't necessarily worry about it unless you are going to run some boost (Turbo) on your CRX. But then you get a header that comes with the kit, unless your running a junk yard turbo. But with the combo of the Header and that High Flow Cat might be a good combo. You asked about some mod's that would be cheap. Well if your interested in the "Junk Yard" turbo as people refer to it. Its a nice way of getting major HP for cheap, probably about 400 dollars. If you have any questions, or just want to know where to get some parts I'll help ya.

I'm sorry for the newbie questions...I do know my **** and have been building race cars and off road trucks for the last 5 years. I know how to make power and what works well with a SBC but I know that a 1.6 honda engine is completely different and like I said I don't want any "Bling" ie. rims, body kits , wings, etc...But would lkie some ideas on what should or shouldn't I do to the engine

I would expect this, everywhere you go, doesn't matter where you tend to run into gay asses...
