Hey guys i just installed my jdm 4-1 header on my 98 gsr. Went to put the hybrid garage carsound cat that i was told was the right length to bolt up and its 2.5 inches too long. I was assured when i bought it that it would be the right length but its clearly not, i just installed an rsr exmag exhaust about a week ago but i see no reason why that would interfere. same size as the stock just bigger in diameter. So now stuck with an incredibly loud car that i dont really want to commute with im going to have to get some sort of test pipe made, and i cant wait on hybrid garages extremely slow buisness( sorry to bust on them but i waited 2 and a half weeks to get my cat and no word from them the entire time, and they are impossible to reach) So im looking for answers on what i need to get made so i can get my car on the road again. Im assuming the ball and cup connector on the header is gonna be tricky, has anyone done this? PLEASE HELP

 

you might want to just take your car to an oldfashioned muffler shop. They can cut and weld the cat to the right length, shouldnt be more than 30-40$.
