I was also wondering about this intercooler? Is it a better choice than anyother in any way, like maybe Spearco?

btw, reason i'm considering this ic is i want all 1st grade components, plus i want to keep my stock fog lights (like in the pictures) not to mention it looks different than the "normal" ic.

The APEXi Silvia Core (Delta Fin Design) is 19.7"x9.33"x2.7" and can be purchased from XS Engineering! This is the core that comes with APEXi's Mistubishi Eclipse FMIC Kit! XS Engineering also offers an XS Engineering Sivia Core (Tube & Fin Design) which is 20"x10.94"x3" .
Here is a pic of the XS Engineering core on a 92-95 Civic!

spearco is better imo... i have heard a of a few problems with the apexi untis... none with the spearco thus far
it's the GTR core, not the Skyline. Thats JP's car (Quick108 I believe)

That doesn't look like the GTR Core. It looks a little too small. The GTR I believe is not only taller, but wider as well.
ok i found quick108 (jp) and i IM him (thats his car) so if anyone knows id definetly would be him.
This is the APEXi Skyline GT-R core (24"x10.8"x3") w/ Delta Fin design!

Here is a better pic of the GTR Core. All these other pics it's hard to see the differences.

Uhhh...yeah that is a A'PEXi Skyline GTR Intercooler. I had to hack the bump support b/c the fawker is like 11 inches tall.
Well if ya think about it... chances are if you are looking for a "Sylvia" core then they aren't going to make it for any specific application besides the Sylvia itself. Haha..
ForcedAccord the "sylvia core" is just a core w/ no endtanks. It just happens to fit nicely in all sorts of front mount applications.
the tanks are welded as per specific application,my main point of starting this thread was beacuse i like the way the Apex-i ic's look and i'm trying to keep my stock fogs.i considered the spearco' cores but i'm looking for something thats different. i happeneed to stumble upon quick108's civic that has a Apex-i ic and i asked around before i started this thread if anyone knew exactly which apex-i core he was running,no two people gave me the same answer even an Apex-i retailer got it wrong.
