is there ant advantage to getting an apexi IC? i got rid of my drag3 and now i wanna build a custom..thanks!!

i dunno that anybody has ever flow tested them or anything.. i have the apex'i silvia core.. its nice i dunno what more you want to know about it though

 

i changed mine from drag to apexi gtr core and it made a huge difference in spool time it made 50 more whp as well.

i dont know if this is true but i "heard" from a retailer that the apex ic's dont flow well. but you know how heresay is...but they sure do look sweet, i was thinking of buying the sylvia core but its pretty damn big,dont know if id have to cut up my bumper or bumper support.

 

o shoot..how much of reinforcement am i going to have to cut with the gtr ? thanks!!

i took my bumper support out.i am running about 20-22lbs.

 

my friend has a turbo gsr with custom turbonetics kit and he's running the apex i gtr ic and his runs 10-15 degrees cooler and he also said it helps his spool up time.

 

Will a Silvia core fit into an EF stock bumper? I have a chance to get one cheap.

 

is that a one time deal or you know a retailer that sell em cheap? whats the best price u guys have been quoted?

 

Its from a friend who banged it up pretty bad on the bottom. He got a bigger IC. Got it pressure tested. It cosmetic on the bottom which won't be able to be seen, I want to paint it flat black anyways. CHEAP too. I have a Starion IC that the piping was rewelded on the end tanks (2.25"). too. If the Apex fits, I rather use it.

Do you know if it will fit in an EF bumper? looks big.

EF? ouch! i doubt it cause its a tight fit in EG bumpers, but im sure you can make it fit somehow,prolly gonna have to cut the bumper up and remve the support.
