I've been working/saving/building/cleaning my new project for 6 months now. I tore down the motor 6 months ago, and now I'm ready to start it again (b18c sleeved, built for boost). The gas is still in the tank from the last time I used it. Sould I drain the tank and get new gas in it, or will the 6-month old gas be ok? ...I'll be breaking it in n/a
how much gas is in the tank. if its pretty low then id say top it off with some fresh stuff. if its full, you may want to drain it ut i probably wouldnt cause im lazy.

Well, I started if for the first time in 6 months today, on the old gas. Idled ok, but I killed it to drain and change the oil (new rebuild). Anyone else have some more experince with this? I'm going to start it again tomorrow and go seat the rings, and I don't want to cause any problems doing some WOT redine pulls...
