Default Advantages/Disadvantages of Running the regular Fan and AC fans all the time

I will be running two slim line fans in the next week when I hook them up. Right now I have my regular fan hard wired so it's on all the time. I was going to just hook the other fan up like the regular ac fans runs which it only comes on when the ac is on. I was thinking of hooking both up to come on all the time. Any advantages or Disadvantahes to doing this.

The advantage is it runs cooler. The only disadvantage, if there is one, is it takes a little longer for the car to warm up before you can race.

i would not do that if you use AC. i have a C&R radiator that came with 1 slim fan that pulls 850cfm. i never found out how much the 2 oems were rated for. but just the other day i was driving on the streets, my temp started going up. it usually never gets up to half way but it got pass half that day. freeway driving is no prob. i just got another slim fan on ebay thats 9". it says it flows over 1000cfm

eventually it will burn the fan motor up...

but people have done it that way for years with no problems...

just make sure you check it ever so often

Hmm, back from the dead somewhat...

I ran one slim fan on the passenger side with my Integra radiator still in. Temps been VERY stable as stock! But any idea, how bad it be without the AC fan, while the AC is on? Would the compressor blow?

I don't think there are any disadvantages to running the fans full time....

I have two slim fans running with ignition and it cools just fine. But make sure you get a fan that has a high CFM rating.

Slim is good but slim and week is not.

DON'T run your AC without the condenser fan if you're in stop and go traffic or anything under 30 MPH. While you're driving your condenser pressure will be kept down by the draft of air going over the condenser. If you stop though your AC is going to trip off on high head pressure. Not good. High pressures like that are NOT good for your compressor. If space is tight in your engine bay get a slim fan and hook it up on the front and have it run as a "pusher".

I believe you misread his intensions.

He is trying to hook both regular fan and A/C fan so they come on constant. That means no matter if the A/C is on or not the fans are kicking.
