Default Apex'i VAFC for H22a

Hi. I was wondering if anyone had some tips on using the VAFC for an H22a engine. I'm gonna get it tuned but no money right now. My friend lowered the Vtec point to 4400 rpm without changing any air or fuel settings. Is this safe? Any help would be appreciated.

4400 is too low, set it to 4800.

If I set it to 4800 without adjusting any of the air/fuel parameters would I be ok? I guess I would be considering it was at 4400 for awhile now. Thanks.

i'm set at 4200 and love it...you don't feel it engage or anything, which means a nice smooth power band...fyi, you don't want the big surge to happen when vtec engages...
