Punctured Radiator Help!!!
It's a small hole, i was drilling something but thats not important. Would it be ok to solder the hole, would solder withstand the temperatures? What can I do as a quick fix!? it's my only car!
no.. solder will not work. You can try jb weld, and it should hold up depending on how big the hole is. Eventually, i think you will have to get a new radiator. Might as well get it now. They're only bout $100.. try ebay.
whats jb weld? the hole is so small, one of the cooling fins must have made it when it was ripped out, i will take a picture as soon as i take it out, removing the hoses is a pain, any tips on that?
here is the picture of the holehttp://www.telusplanet.net/pub...1.JPG

JB weld shouldnt really be used longterm, not on something like that.
