ebay radiator..
i got this ebay radiator for my 93 civic. it came with a radiator cap but looks like junk.. was going to put my other cap on it, but my stock cap doesnt go down far engough to seal.. the one that came with the radiator is a much taller cap.. other than that the radiator is awesome. anyone know if anyone other kind of radiator cap might work with this radiator?

LOL! I'm not sure how to describe it, but I know what he's saying/meaning. It's like a "retard" sound. It's a little mean, but it's the internet...
Back on topic:
Maybe take the radiator to a parts shop and try different caps.

why does it matter which specific ebay radiator it is? theres like 2 different kinds.. it doesnt matter anyway, what is that going to tell you. its a 92-95 civic half radiator but obvisously the stock radiator cap is not deep enough to seal. i told you what the problem was so what is me showing you the ebay link going to tell you?
i need to know if anyone has found out what other other radiator cap from another car that will work.

Re: (mike93boost)
Is the cap junk or does it just look like junk?? Use the cap it came with and see if it starts to overheat. If not go to an autoparts store and compare that tall cap with others there.

i said it is pure JUNK. its like ******* plastic. i dont want to use it.
i just wanted to see if anyone on here has experienced this and if they already knew what other radiator cap will fit it.. otherwise yea i planned on goign to the auto parts stores and start comparing.

Re: (mike93boost)
Advance Auto carrys 19 different radiator caps onhand (i work there). Go in with your old "junk plastic" cap and someone there will bring you a lawn chair and an exotic drink with a pink umbrella in it while they match your cap with other caps that will work. Then they will bring you the results.. (this is where you need to work) pick one with the deepest seal.

I know the 2 your talking about. One is the same exact one streetimports sells and the other one is the one with the red, white, and black cap. Doing some searching I found that people have used after market ebay Mugen/Spoon caps that seem to work with the streetimports style radiator.
