Track times!
hey went to the track last night and well - ... ran ok I guess. I got a 16.034 @ unknowen (the mph was not working) followed by some 16.1's and so forth. The problem is my 60' . It was 2.492 on my first run and on the 16.034 it was 2.522 - not great but old clutch and crap tires. We are 3900 feet above sea level and the temp was about 8deg C. Any comments?
oh lol the car is a '95 SE with I/H/E - no cat.

I'm guessing you have an LS under that hood, hopefully not a GSR because that would definitely be sad but the sea level is not complimentary to your time slips and your reaction n 60 foot needs work, practice launching and learn what RPM the car likes to be launched at...words of advice
oh yeah its an LS
but yeah well its kinda tricky that car's clutch is used, 110k Miles worth. When i get a new clutch/flywheel sometime in the future it should cure that but yeah I tryed slipping it hard I tryed dropping it at 3200, I tryed burnout then 5k launch, Its tricky im used to Rear drive 8's this my first "Import"

I ran a 15.3 in my gsr with a 2.4 60ft time, but Im pretty close to sea level. Either way, you can still run a decent time with a crappy 60ft time. That was my gsr with AEM V1 btw.
i just got back from the track and i ran a 16.3 in my basically stock gsr. im @ 5800ft and it really kills times and hp.
i talked to a buncha local gsr guys and they said 16.3 with a 2.5 60' ain't bad for my car at this altitude.
