5 point harness's out of date?

Default 5 point harness's out of date?

is there anyway to get out of date harness back in date?

i mean, there are some for HELLA cheap on ebay...but they're out of date...

I don't know if a harness is something that can be re certified or not. contact SFI foundation or the NHRA to be sure.

Well Clayton, you know the track guys hassled my brother and I about that and he said you could send it to the manufacture and they will check it and re cert it..... but don't know for sure just something I was told. HTH Rob

you can get them recertified....Im not sure of the time, process or cost though......its easier to just get a new one at $100

You must know who the manufacturer is and contact them to see if they will recertify the harness. Some will, some won't. Some charge almost the same price as buying them new. Figure this out before bidding.

i bidded on a couple...but i doubt i win them...it is ebay afterall

so i mean, i want a camlock harness.....i suck at getting the regular latch harnesses clamped....and i'm a ricer.

anyone know a GOOD, CHEAP place to get legal ones from?

check summitracing.com - the RCI ones are decently priced and will always be in the correct date for you - that is what we are running in our Turbo 4 Civic

yeah, that's what i was looking at as well.....

I think i'm a just try to get booted before I worry about harness and a bar and stuff.....i'm gonna go ahead and get a hemet though

at least a snell 95 inside of it.
you should download an on line rule book from nhra. That info is in there.
