Recertifying harnes's????

I have a LEAF 5point harness and it's out if date but it was hardly used...... I went to the loacal track and they said I could get it recerified anyone know who or how to do this??? TIA Rob

Hey Rob, you might be able to get some good info from SFI. I think their website is http://www.sfifoundation.com/

I believe you are supposed to send the harnesses back to the manufacturer for recertification. Also, I have heard that some manufacturers will not recertify...so you need to check that as well.

I guess its kind of expensive though. My friend ended up buying a new harness because he said it was only $40 more when it was all said and done (and no waiting).
