Exhaust manifold gasket help...
Currently the gasket that goes between my catalytic converter and Bpipe is falling apart and needs replaced. I went to honda to get the gasket. They pulled up this diagram and stated I needed #33:

What they gave me, was this:

However, the gasket thats on my car is the shape of this(pardon my ms paint skillz yO):

Will the one honda gave me work? It just looks like a 2 1/4" o-ring to me. They said the gasket on my car is aftermarket, even though its the one that has been on my car since I bought it 3yrs ago.

There is a groove on the cats flange. You'll need to dig the old rusty gasket out and clean the surfaces before installing the new one. Just put your new one in there, and tighten the bolts around it to compress it. Get it right the first time, or get another gasket.

No, i dont want to crawl under the car and take it off if the one I have isnt going to fit. I doubt the one on there will survive me taking it off.
