Ok, I got a set of 90-91 teg axles/ int shaft, and a set of 95 gsr axles/ int shaft. I also have 91 j1 tranny seals, and 95 gsr seals. I should be able to mix and match parts, so what do I do?
It seriously seems like I am the only one trying to do this setup, its so hard...
Some people have a hydro tranny on there b16, and others have a cable on there b18c.... its frustrating.
Oh well, please help. Thanks so much for your replies in advance!! Ryan

So they are the same length as the 90-91's? I just need to remove the dust cap, correct? Ryan
I had always heard that hydraulic transmissions can use the same axles/intermediate shafts as cable transmissions. You just need the cable transmission axle seals.

OK, so should I use my 90-91 teg axles/ int shafts? Im confused. Thats what I Originally thought, but people are telling me to use the 95 axles and shafts. What gives? Thanks, Ryan
Edit: Raxles told me 95 axles would be too long. They told me 89 outers/shaft, and 95 inners and int shaft. Ryan

i just installed mine, i used a 91 inter shaft and axles. with a 96 ls tranny. i changed the driver side tranny seal. seem to work good but i didnt drive the car yet, something seems to be wrong with my clutch. its not disingauging.
btw: i had to find out the hard way, if your clutch setup is for a cable tranny. then you need to change out your clutch disk to a hydro setup. you can still keep your pressure plate, just change the disk.
ryan PM me if you need any more help

the seal you have to change on your tranny, its where your intermediate shaft goes into the tranny. that seal. thats it.
