i got my motor from hmotorsonline and the tps sensor was taken off. he said he takes them off when he ships them


how do i put this back on? there's the sensor, a little spring, and a little black plastic thing.


any help would be appreciated.

There should be a pointer type thing on the back of the senor. Line it up with the slot on the T/B and bolt it down. Now with the ignition on you have to test the signal wire to see that it reads .05 volts with the trottle closed. If it dosn't adjust till you get it. BTW I think the signal wire is black with a blue stripe not to sure though.

 

what about the spring and the little black deal? how do those go on?

do i put the spring on the back of the sensor, then the black thing, then put it on the tb?

yea those things worth $$$ but they didnt take mine off when i bought my b-series from them

 

i wish they didn't take mine off either

now i have to worry about putting it on right

this sounds like you talked to them about why it was not on the motor? why didnt you just ask him/them how to put it on???

i would rather sound like an idiot over the phone with one person than on an open forum ...... but thats just me....

 

i did, but he didn't give me a straight answer. the black deal in the pic and the spring in the pic aren't on the sensor, they are seperate. other people have told me that the sensor is broken if its not in one piece.

so i get my motor from hmotorsonline with the knock sensor broken and the tps sensor broken. guess i'll have to give steve another call monday
