i have a new pilot bearing , i also have a new clutch to put in, iyhe new one goes in with ease, seems like the bore on the flywheel is too big now, what could have caused this?
A faulty bearing theoretically could have caused the flywheel to spin on the outer race rather than on the ball bearings, thus causing extreme heat and friction which, in theory, could cause the hole to enlarge.
Honestly, I have no idea exactly what caused it, but it's good that you got a new flywheel. I would have recommended one anyway.

Your pilot bearing spun in the flywheel causing the hole to become to big. Just repalce the flywheel when you do the job. There pretty cheap. Or while your at it why dont you just go with an aluminum flywheel.
The flywheel was probably machined a little loose on the bearing diameter. If it is not too loose you can use a center punch on the center diameter in about 10-20 places and possibly a little Locktite and the bearing will stay just fine. If that sounds too mickey mouse for you, I know of a great flywheel that will fit perfect, hint hint.
