Will double DIN radio fit in hondas/acura????

 

it depends on which model, and even if it didnt, are you open to hacking and relocating? anything is possible my friend.

 

this is for my mother's crv so I don't want to do any fabrication.

her car has radio only and she wants tape and cd.
found a nice double din cassette/cd that is much cheaper than I have found any good stock units

 

Depends on the car, just have a look at the slot in the CRV to see if theres another below the stock headunit, 2 din is the size of 2 normal head units. My DA has a 2 din slot for instance but some others don't.

 

i think it might.. i have a 91 teg and it has the stereo din, then below a small pocket.. like this

It should fit if the car came with a double DIN slot. I had a double DIN in my GSR.

 

the crv has a double din, the install should be fairley easy since there are factory brackets that can be used.

I know my '99 accord does....the '91 civic I would have to do some modding. But it irks me that the double DIN h/u that I've seen don't have removable faces....
