Default what do you do to clean your dash?

I know people polish their dash & doors with some **** like armor-all but that stuff is too greasy and seems to just cover up and not clean. What can I use to effectively clean my interior without hurting my dash?

Personally I just used soap and water.

I also thought that dash cleaner/AmourAll stuff makes it too greasy looking and not natural. A dash isn't supposed to be shiny.

I have heard bad things about using those products too. Over time they might make the dash more prone to cracking.

I've always just used soap and water and it's always looking good. Whether it's sitting out in the sun for a week or in the garage.

I clean my dash with Meguiars APC+ cleaner, then use 303 Aerospace protectant. 303 is water based and contains UV protectants. It also leaves a nice matte finish.

4 years isn't that long. A few more years and having the hot sun bake on it.....won't last too long. I've seen it many times. Be careful.

303 is sweet. i recommend it also .

for stuff like this check out http://www.bettercarcare.com. it has a bunch of how-to's and one of them deals completely with the interior. they even recommend products to use and provide a way to buy them.

and not to jack the thread, but i've been wondering... are the door panels leather or what? i always thought they were vinyl, but i heard they're leather from a couple places... maybe just part is leather?
