Pic Request: Cusco Strut bars
Just looking for some pics and maybe some feedback on them. Not on the performance side ( a strut bar is a strut bar), but if it is a quality product or not.
cusco bar quality is top notch, very light, but thick and beefy if you like that type of bar. their strut tower bars either come in aluminum or cf wrapped. i used to have the aluminum rear strut tower bar in my hatch and luved it
The DC5 rear bar. Construction is top notch. Everything is thick and sturdy, they use pretty large diameter hardware to connect the crossbar, and when its in and torqued down, its so tight it pings if you flick it.

My friend works for Nukabe Automotive in Mattoon, IL. Their main product line is Cusco. Here's a couple bars I have on my car...

damn that thing is as thick as my ****. I hear that upgrading to another 2 point front upper strut will do almost next to nothing for the handling of your car as opposed to a 3 point brace like the carbing.
This is some long drawn out topic in the ITR owners forum who are the "self proclaimed know it all's of everything honda performance" that made that statement so dont flame me for ignorance.

That's all shannigans dude. If you look at the Si strut bar it attaches to the body, the cusco, dc, and others that attach to the strut do affect handling in a better way. I've had both, Si and DC, and it's noticable. That's why right now, i'm running both at the same time.

umm..some strut bars are thicker than others. some like the carbing have the 3 point thing for more ridgidity. some have better welds. som have no moving parts.

actually my cusco front bar attaches to the same mounts as my stock Si bar did.
BTW I love all of cusco's stuff
... i have most of it..... f&r stb, f&r tie bars, ek9 rear adj. sway bar, rad. cap, and I plan on getting the zero 2's and MC brace as soon as I can save up the dough
i'll try and get pix of the stuff installed on my Si up sooner or later. all cusco parts are of top notch quality and I got all my stuff from chad at nukabe
good guy
