Default What is a good throttlebody size?

I have a JDM b16 with skunk2 stage2 cams, upgraded valve train. i/h/2.5"e my fuel system is all AEM except for my Venom fuel pump. I have a stock obd0 pr3 ecu and an AEBS i/m.

What size throttlebody should i go for? I was lookin on ebay and they have BBK tb's for 250 or so in 62 and 70mm sizes. 62 is definetly gonna flow better then my stock first gen b16 tb (58-60mm?) but is the 70mm too big?

Note: My next and probably last upgrade will be ctr pistons on milled b16 rods to help up the compression a little. Other then that and a little tuning this is as far as I plan to go with this setup.

Thanks.

i'd say anything above 64mm is a waste. i've seen motors make 200+whp with a 60mm t/b. obviously, those were b18/b20vtec's. for the 16, i can't see anything bigger than 64mm being beneficial (not including high strung 16's). especially when you factor in the cost vs. hp factor. i had a 67mm on my 16 downsized, all the way down to 58mm and the only noticable difference was the throttle tip in, that was it. yeah, it was a bit slower, but, the car still pulls just as hard up top.
set up:
jdm 2nd gen b16
p&p head w/ITR valves & valvetrain. milled .030. ported p30 intake manifold (11.3/1 c.r.)
CTR cams w/S2 cam gears
OEM exhaust manifold (voted the worst placed front crossmember ever.......EF civic/crx)
7bls flywheel w/exedy cluth
2.5" mandrel echaust (no cat)
fuel pump

yeah.

66 for 1.6L, 68 for 1.8L, 70 for 2.0L.

thats the way i have always looked at it. Tuning is required.

Holley makes a 68, edelbrock makes a 66. I know theres other companies out there as well. Port your TB for $100 i think it can be ported to 64mm.

i'd say that the ITR tb is the big enough for any b16 unless it has very high compression and is reving to the sky, with b16 you need all the tq you can get any tb bigger then 62 isnt gonna be worth it

it will definetly help but you need to port match the intake manifold as well 62-70mm t-bodys billet allum. RPM SERVICE (identical to ericks racing) $300.00
